Another reason proving 99.7 switching formats.

Are the PawSox only on 790, as it is? I thought that the Yanks were on both WSKO and WSKO-FM unless the Paw Sox had a game, in which case Paw Sox would run on
the AM side. (For example, a scroll on the 'SKO site says "Paw Sox at 6:50 pm Monday on AM 790. Yankees vs. White Sox at 6:30 pm Monday on FM 99.7")

If a format change occured, and the PawSox and Yanks had a game at the same
time, what would happen? If 99.7 had a new format, 790 would have to choose.
Let's say they take the Yankees game and bump the PawSox to 630--no wait,
there's a Red Sox game on at that time, too...

Whenever the Yanks are not playing or are playing on the West Coast (10pm eastern time), 99.7 airs the Pawsox. <P ID="signature">______________

I have done some snooping over the past weekend and 99.7 is switching to something else.I could not get my source to spill the beans as to what.
Country has come up.80's Rock etc.

My huntch would be a simulcast of Hot 106.That would be the best idea.To hit South County.

Ah, OK. I'm up on the North Shore of Boston and while I can faintly pick up the AM side I can't hear the FM (due to WKLB 99.5 of course). I have driven to and through R.I. a few times, though. Anyway, didn't know what that situation was.

I suppose even if they switched to, say, country, they could still run Yankee
or Paw Sox games (as part of a contract...and we know WPRO loses the Sox next year as they shift to WEEI-FM)
