Another "Retirement" At WDBO???

I see more heads are rolling at WDBO. CFR says Dave Wahl has retired "effective today". If somebody retires on their own choice its usually planned. Since they got rid of Jim Bishop for an inexpensive replacement, what's to say this isn't the same case? I've also heard they got rid of somebody else too. Somebody said radio isn't what it used to be and never will be. Yes that's true. Too bad. Accept it people, thanks to stupid ownership and management, radio is circling the drain. Go ahead get mad and call me names if that makes you feel good!

I got the point, even if he didn't. Nice find.

Correction. Cox has been screwing up since Bob Neil left, not Bill. A formerly great company now just another Mcjobs operation.

It's mostly syndicated talk, NOT news, anyway. So pay some kids 20k/yr, and you call it "news 96".
That was my exactly my thought as well; unless 96.5 is about to change their format (and I'm not holding my breath on that one)....... TALK 96.5 would be more accurate.
