CC's Hallelujah's tend to do pretty good in areas with high African American populations like Memphis.
______________

Yes, the flip happened at 11AM today(July 27th). Its last song before the flip was Dr. Dre Featuring Snoop Dogg & Nate Dogg's "The Next Episode."

BTW the www.hallelujah1041.com is down but it should be up soon.

The new 104 will be just fine in Nawlins. It's a good flip for CC.

It also might help KNOU.. since On Top Communications is bleeding right now, there is less competition.

But let's not forget another station that could benefit from this departure: Dance Top 40 WDVW(Diva 92.3).

Hmm...it would be very interesting if they replaced it with Tucson's 929 The Mountain. Probably not gonna happen, Arizona doesn't have much Africans or African-Americans, but just saying, it would be interesting.

Anyhow, upseting that they threw out the CC KISS format, that's one of their best rhythmic formats.

Ah well, what can you do? :shrugs:

I guess African music is a pretty interesting and cool concept, but couldn't they throw out a different station?

Dude, have you hit puberty yet??

NAWLINS is 60+% african-american. GOSPEL FM on a FULL CITY GRADE unlike Praise, will WORK WELL!!

African music....LoL That made my stomach hurt I laughed so hard.
