Another Rimshot from Ted Tucker

KTBX is now on the air on 98.1 with a rim shot signal over Tucson. Tower appears to be in Madera Canyon. KTBX has a city of license of Tubac and is licensed to Cochise Broadcasters which is one of several companies owned by Ted Tucker and family. So Clear Channel's Hot 98.3 is now surrounded by Tucker stations on both sides, the other being Vail on 98.5. Both stations appear to be commercial free. Like all Tucker stations they will be upgraded and eventually sold at huge capital gains.
 
New Construction permit

According to FCC site, they have an application to move from 98.1 to 100.5. That gets it away from Hot 98.3.
