another rock station hits the Dust

100.5 MAX-FM in Va Beach has gone from active rock to top 40... probably following CBS's Lead with 92.3 K-rock

My blackberry is looking at more usage for internet streams even when I travel instead of FM radio.

Forgive me for splitting hairs - and the fact that the story isn't even remotely related to New York is besides the point - what exactly is "hitting the dust"? You can "bite the dust" or you can "hit the dirt". Heck, maybe even "bite the dirt" if you feel so inclined... But "hit the dust"? Must be a New England thing... ;)
