Another Rockford post

I don't remember the exact year. The old WKKN, later WNTA on 1150 AM was located out on Rockford's east side on land between Reid Farm road, and Perryville Road. It was taken dark as the directional tower site was on prime real estate at the time. I believe the property was sold and developed for housing back in the mid 90's when the housing boom was on. Radiowerks had purchased 1150 and 95.3 from Midwest Family, and joined it with the already owned WXRX 104.9 and WRRR 1330 AM. There was no reason for them to keep 2 low power at night AM stations, so WNTA moved over to 1330 and the 1150 went away.
