Another Sampled Dance Track- Nina Sky Beautiful

it definitely resembles Heaven, but not sure if its a sample. the pattern is different along with the tones.

They are currently playing this on Power 106 Where Hip Hop Lives in L.A.
They first featured it on their new @ 2 mix, where they are now featuring the new David Guetta ft Akon, the new La Roux, and the new Richard Vission track.

Power 106 Where Hip Hop Lives is a pretty interesting station.

Getting a lot of spins at WNYZ, and I must say that it did remind me of Heaven when I first heard it. Those 2 songs would go well together in a mixshow.

It's definitely a rip of the melody from DJ Sammy's version of "Heaven". It's obviously not a remake of the song "Heaven", originally a huge hit for Brian Adams in the mid 80s, but it does indeed take the melody from DJ Sammy. It's kind of obvious.
Besides, KDM mentioned this Nina Sky track weeks ago in one of his posts here on the board.

At this rate, I'm beginning to think that KPWR might be moving away from "Where Hip-Hop Lives" if they put Guetta/Akon and La Roux into heavy rotation. Better yet, they should let KDAY have the Hip-Hop altogether.

KDAY is now old school hip hop and r&b. L.A. is currently left without a hip hop, or urban station. They have a station with a hip hop slogan, but not a station with a hip hop format. The La Roux "bullet proof" version they are featuring in the new @ 2 mix is the Foamo mix. Not sure if it will ever reach regular rotation, but it almost seems as if it will reach mixshow play, and be a party mix at noon hit. The Nina Sky song as far as I've seen is already in rotation, although it's not in the top played. Based on some other things I've heard on Power 106, I'm sure David Guetta ft Akon just may have a chance.. but then again who knows. Oddly enough, they are not playing LoveGame by Lady GaGa or She Wolf by Shakira, but they have every LMFAO track that's been released as a single in regular rotation.
