Another SC broadcaster passes...

Spreading on Facebook this morning: the sad word that Bert "Thunderbert" Thayer has passed on. Besides numerous other career paths, Bert worked for years in radio in Florence and Myrtle Beach.

Do you have further information about Bert? I want to add the info to my thatwasradio.com site, he worked at Wave 104 when I was there.

Only that he passed Friday of a heart attack; I know he worked at Eagle 92.9 and The River 102.9 in Florence back about 5-6 years ago....he was also running a customized golf cart business before he passed on.
