Another show is axed: "Swift Justice with Jackie Glass"

At least in Atlanta with Nancy Grace, the show was in HD, whereas in Los Angeles with Jackie Glass, it isn't.

When a show ended up reverting its technology, it ends up paying for it in the end. The original Price is Right with Bill Cullen moved from NBC to ABC in 1963; however, it had to give up its color, as ABC could not afford to colorcast the show -- it was off the air by Fall 1965. Not just reversion to B/W, but also less affiliates may have played the role in that show's cancellation.

It was less the technology, more the fact that Jackie Glass was a giant charisma suck who had no on-screen appeal at all and never even had one light moment, where Judge Judy will always have two or three laugh lines per show. But definitely, the conversion from a bright and unique set to yet another dark-paneled courtroom with flags and a fake seal certainly didn't bring in the viewers.

I'll say it: Judge Glass' version of the show was swiftly canceled!

Should've kept Nancy Grace she is better looking than Jackie Glass.

It wasn't a matter of "keeping" Nancy Grace. She chose to walk to spend more time berating enjoying her family.

And she is busy enough with her HLN commitments, though she was a contestant on "Dancing with the Stars."
Add to that the expense of shooting in Atlanta and renting GPB facilities to do so. If WB produced the show, they could have used Turner facilities they owned.
IMO there has been quite the glut of court/judge shows... remember Cristina's Court? Judge David Young? Judge Hatchett?

Don't forget "Family Court with Judge Penny." I personally found the show and judge to be dreadful. You can also add "Judge Karen" and "Judge Karen's Court" to the list of failed court shows.

As for Swift Justice, I'm sorry to see the show go as I liked both Grace and Glass. However, I kind of saw the writing on the wall when the current season stopped having previews of the episodes coming up right before the show. It just went straight to the program.

Here's another funny part: "America's Court with Judge Ross" is renewed for two more seasons.

Don't forget when the late Joey Bishop moved from NBC to CBS in 1964, switched from Living Color to Boring B&W!

You can dump that, and Gloria Allred's We The People, in the trash too. BOTH shows are FAKE, and have actors playing the plaintiffs and defendants. People's Court, Judge Judy, Joe Brown, etc. are SO much better than this fake, 1980s-like stuff.
