ANOTHER STATION FLIPS TO ALL CHRISTMAS MUSIC

KSBJ 89.3 and all of its satellite and repeater stations went all Christmas music the other day. What I find to be unusal about this is that they are playing a lot of
SECULAR Christmas music, not all Christian type of music. I thought that they would be against that type of thing.

OLD CHICAGO

What kind of secular, the kind of songs that don't explicitly mention Christmas? I guess they're part of the "Keep Christ in Christmas" thing.

Perhaps when they speak of secular, they're speaking of Kenny Rogers, the Judds, Bing Crosby, Brenda Lee, the Carpenters, Ray Conniff, Mannheim Steamroller, etc. There was/is an awful lot of good Christmas music that was/is not necessarily recorded by "Christian" recording artists. I think KSBJ is open-minded (or broad-minded) enough to play ANY Christmas song by ANY artist as long as it meets certain "good taste" criteria.
