Another Take on NPR Evolution

There have been a series of threads here about NPR in the wake of COVID: How traditional FM listening is down, how corporate giving is down, how NPR has laid off staff, and how the company has seen an increase in digital revenue. Here's another view on the subject from the Nieman Lab:

https://www.niemanlab.org/2020/08/r...ching-a-bigger-audience-than-ever-what-gives/

Their view is that this is just one example of how the radio audience continues to shift to digital and on-demand platforms rather than real time listening.

The Nieman Lab is part of the Nieman Foundation at Harvard University.
