Another Trivia Question-Beatles

What real people are named in Beatles songs? One just died, and he was a prominent politician.

I can name at least three songs with real people's names. The first was in 1966.

"Taxman"--"Ah ha Mr. (Harold) Wilson...Ah ha, Mr. (Ted) Heath" (Both British politicians and Prime Ministers: Wilson-Labour, Heath-Tory)

"Dig It"--from Let it Be, names Doris Day, B.B. King, Matt Busby (who was a team manager for Liverpool F.C or Manchester United, maybe Blackpool F.C.)

I'm at a loss for the third...

In "Revolution", they mention Chairman Mao (Tse Tung), who was then leader of Red China

"Eleanor Rigby". She was a friend of Paul and John's. Also, "Lovely Rita" a meter maid near the Abbey Road studios.

I did not even think of those. Mine are different.

In For You Blue, George mentions Elmore James.

Hey Jude has John's son's name in the title. Well, Julian was changed to Jude.

Dear Prudence was about a real person.

Mia's (Farrow) sister, Prudence, became the subject of the Beatles song "Dear Prudence", according to a website I saw.

Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds was about a real person.

According to John Lennon, it was a picture that Julian drew. When John asked what it was, Julian said, "Lucy in the sky, with diamonds" Lucy was a classmate of Julian's.

The newspeople are mentioned in Ballad Of John And Yoko but I can not
remember any names in that song.

One important name: Christ.

"Ballad" distinctly mentions Peter Brown, who was a senior staff member at Apple. He became personal consierge to John and Yoko in 1969 and beyond.

Re: Beatles

I did not think of that, but it was used as something other than a name.

An interjection?
