Another unannounced Severin repeat today

It's "Groundhog Day" again for today's Severin show. Again, no announcement from 'TKK. 3pm brings yet another repeat of a show from this week. It might even be yesterday's show. How much time does this guy take off? Take some money out of petty cash and call Moe Lauzier in for a few hours. Cripes.

Seems like in past years he was gone most of the summer (at that time WTKK had the rights to Hannity
and instead of running a Severin re-run they'd at least go to Hannity live). How much vaca times does
James Severino have anyway? Meanwhile, Howie has taken a bit more vaca time than before (entire weeks
plus every "teacher's holiday"). When WRKO "matched WTKK's offer" for the Fried Clam Man, that may
have included more time off. But he's still on quite a bit, like right now.

'TKK, have Graham fill in for Severin and put Dennis Miller on from 10-noon (ask Westwood One to make you
a temp. affiliate of the show during the summer--'TKK already ran Levin as a temp. affiliate the night of
one of the primaries...they wound up picking it up as a best-of on Sat. nights, as it is, though when I actually tried to listen to it they had--a Severin re-wind.

Note: Severin actually beat Howie in the ratings recently..though I still prefer HC.

I think they'd have better TSL if they opted for the other Miller on at that time - Stephanie - in the above scenario. Her political allegiance aside, it's just a fun listen, while at the same time, intelligent.

That could work too; they could move Graham back to morning drive and get rid of the ancient cowboy;
trouble is, Don-O gets pretty good ratings, I hear.

Seems like Severin takes almost as much vacation time as GWB! ;D
