How about this Kill American Idol and keep X-Factor. Look the fans will Follow where Simon Cowell goes. Its like The Biotech industry the people will follow where J Craig Venter goes either Synthetic Biology or The Genome Project.

The basic problem with Idol these last two years is it was a love fest. No one told the truth. Put Nicki Minage in a show and it'll be like Jerry Springer. That'll revive the show. Not necessarily in a good way, but the trainwreck will attract an audience.

When it's moneymaking ability stops, THAT'S when they'll can it. They aren't sprinting to hire replacement judges for nothing.

Even though I didn't watch the newscasts I missed him when he was no longer doing the weather. At least he did weather on FM Talk 101.1, but now that's gone too.
