I notice on some recent commercials for WGN AMERICA that they have intro'd what could be ANOTHER new logo if this is so , it would be the THIRD logo for the former SUPERSTATION WGN, since the "eyes" logo in 2008

mleach said:...now KWGN is branding/calling themselves as "The Deuce"...
lugnuts6 said:As for KWGNs new name, I dont think Disney will send a C&D letter since ESPN2 dropped the nickname "The Deuce" when they decided to just use the ESPN2/ESPN name to be more "corporate"...lol

You can see the new logo on the banner ad for WWE Superstars on WGN America's website.

Apparently, the new logo will debut on April 15th, from what I can tell.

FWIW, that new logo was the one I was speaking about in my previous post.

One thing that jumped out at me...The Cubs/White Sox games are branded as "National League" and "American League" games. They're distancing themselves even further from their Chicago identity.
jal41 said:If they want to be all-inclusive...why continue WGN News? As long as the Cubs/White Sox/Bulls coverage and WGN News continue...they will be just an extension of the local WGN-TV Chicago. To be all-inclusive, all Chicago-centered sports and news has to go.
