I am thinking that Woody should do a hostile buyout of Cumulus. Imagine that story line.....

If nothing else, Westwood One could finally bring the Brewed Awakening to anxious Woody fans all across the fruited plane...er plain.
 
Stevie's resilience is amazing - how he jumps from one scam to another without seeing the inside of a jail. Probably hiding behind his mama's skirts (made of Teflon) when the heat is on.
 
And because the Mermaid Cafe was such a huge hit for the folks of SW GA that Starbucks couldn't keep their money-grubbin' paws off of an honest man's hard-earned money, he has shocked the Thomasville metro area by deciding to re-brand the world-famous eatery...because we all know changing your name will always keep you from having to answer to "The Man's" corporate-controlled court of law!

If all else in life fails, start a restaurant... If the resturant fails, arson and an insurance check are easy to come by.

Nope. The old 1020 studios were sold at tax auction a couple of years ago. According to Google Maps, the towers have been knocked down.

He lives in a nice little house that his mama owns just outside of town. The station and studios were owned by "Georgia Triangle Broadcasting", so that's why mama and Lil' Steven got to keep the house (in mama's name)

I should point out his "new" venture is located at the exact place that the Mermaid Cafe was. Sounds like the name and business license has changed (probably an attempt to shirk Starbucks out of their lawsuit money), but the same great food and same wacky Woody is right there!

And yes, it was one of the first things that crossed my mind when I heard he had a restaurant. That being said, I think in his mind insurance fraud is a crime. Scamming mom & pop radio station owners, disabled veterans, and a large multinational coffee company is fair game in his book. Plus, enough people keep tabs on this cat that he will 'get got' if he tries anything that crazy. I've seen the documentaries...Georgia sounds like one of the last states where I'd want to do a stretch of hard time in the big house!

Woody for Prison 2016! The next sequel in the Steven Blood Story. Think of all the prison scams he could run. Cabo Wabo Reidsville has a nice ring to it! The stream from CWR radio will be all David Allen Coe and will of course feature Woody on the ones and twos.
I like the other guy's suggestion about Woody buying out Cumulus. Lou, John, and Woody would make quite a team.
