Answer me this please...

Am i getting the right vibes from you folks? The radio in New orleans and surrounding areas is boring to you? Flat? Stale? Nothing of any susstance is happening? is tis true? if so,what needs to happen? Why do folks, when we talk radio keep telling me this? I would like to read your thoughts, opinions. Thanks! ???

N.O. radio is done. I used to drive to N.O. and was excited to listen, maybe even 'borrow' some ideas. The programming in my market is better than what is down there now and we are #252...

Heck 1570AM in Amite is better than anything in New Orleans!

I disagree. WWL 870AM is one of the finest stations in the United States. I love listening to Deke and Bobby's sports shows when the sun sets in Austin. I also love the post game shows, both for LSU and the Saints.

WWL also broadcasts local programming all day, they do not switch over to Sean Hannity, Rush Limbaugh, etc., like the rest of the 50kw stations do (KTRH, WOAI, etc).

I will agree that WWL is a fine station. I was referring to the FM music stations in my post.

Sounds like you need a good shot of Captain Humble rock and roll. Except that he retired.
