Antelope Area Transmitters

Well i was on a hunt to figure out what the 4 towers in Antelope were. I guess they are KCTC's night site. I always wondered what they were and thanks to the little search feature on this site my question has been answered. I do however still have one quest, there appears to be a small transmitter station on P.F.E road in Roseville. It has a decent sized tower next to it, and it appears to be defunct. Just wondering if any of you guys have any idea what it is (or used to be)? Also, are the 4 towers in Antelope still KCTC's nite site, or are they now no longer used?

I'm pretty sure KRXQ's old transmitter was out there when they were on the 93.7 frequency, so I would imagine Jack-FM's out there now unless they moved their stick.

The 93.7 tower is located near Granite Bay, easily visible from the intersection of Sierra College and Douglas Blvd. According to radio-locator, KEBR/1210 transmits 500 watts ERP from a single tower off PFE road for their nightime site...

I would assume KCTC still uses the Roseville road (Antelope area) towers at night, although I remember reading that Entercom had filed an application into converting their day site for use 24/7 (and also changing KCTC's COL to West Sac, if I remember correctly).

With Real Estate in the dumps, Maybe Entercom could see there MISTAKE and will keep the night time site there instead of Raping the station as there planning to do :-\

KSMH is licensed to West Sacramento.

Oh, that's the 1620 Catholic outfit, isn't it? I hadn't even thought of that (course, I don't listen to it), but I had no idea its COL was WS. Thanks, Michael. :)
