Long time Antelope Valley Radio & Television talk show host Herb Nero dies at 55. Herb did time at Antelope Valley radio station's KAVL 610, KKHJ 1380 and TV Stations KHIZ TV64, KPAL TV38 until 2001.

I had the pleasure of working with Herb at KHIZ 64 Barstow, He was part Wally George with a little Geoge Putnam on the side, and down to earth when the mics and cameras were off.
The Antelope Valley will never be the same without Herb.
