ANTENNA-TOWERS OF PIRATE STATIONS ON GOOGLE "STREET VIEW"?

I was using Google's "Street View" the other day, viewing various Boston neighborhoods at random, and I came across what appears to be a tower of some sort on top of a three decker home on Morton Street in Mattapan, between Rhoades Street and Baird Street. Given that Mattapan and North Dorchester are well-known as hot beds of pirate stations, I have a strong suspicion that this may be the location of one.

If you want to see it for yourself on Google's "Street View", it is the light blue color three decker among three in that stretch on Morton that is closest to the intersection of Rhoades. Because of the angle of the image and the sunlight, you really can only see the tower from the Rhoades Street side of the property. For those who are familiar with that neighborhood, it is right around the corner from the famous Chez Vous skating rink, which has been around for a long time. :)

Thanks for your good intentions, ThatGuyOnThe Radio, but the link you provided doesn't take you to the location I indicated in my original posting. (It's close, however). If someone wants to see what I am referring to, it's best just to list Morton Street and Rhoades Street, Boston MA in the address box on Google's Street View and then pan to find the triple decker with the tower on top.

That was formerly the location of 1670 AM, but the antenna is now gone.
 
And once they do, they'll continue to do absolutely nothing about any of them.

They're more interested in repacking the UHF TV spectrum these days than shutting down pirate stations. Especially ones in "bad neighborhoods" that they won't venture into. Now part of me agrees with that--I wouldn't go in if I were an FCC inspector and risk getting shot over a pirate radio station when I have a family to feed. But there are federal marshalls that used to go with them.

I don't understand why they can't use the local PD. The FBI conducts raids in cooperation with the local PD all the time. It's a violation of federal law. And it's not a couple of kids running 5 watts for a few hours a couple nights a week with a home built transmitter to entertain their friends. A lot of engineering careers were started that way. These are being run as 24/7/365 businesses.
 
Wonder what power Hot 97 was putting out at its highest? Signal got out to Rt495. On some days BIg City 101.3 has gotten out 25 miles from Boston. This is not 10 watts or just 100 watts like most of the other pirates

I don't think local police care and would never commit the resources to helping the FCC. The public has no interest in the local PD stopping pirate radio.
 
We have been over this stuff so much it makes my eyes bleed! There is a big difference between Federal Law and Federal Regulations. FCC rules are just that rules not laws. When you break them you can be fined. If you don't pay the fines eventually the government can sieve your property. If you can convince a Federal Judge or the US District Attorney that you should be allowed to seize the equipment he will ask the Federal Marshals to assist you and they often ask the local police to come along. No one gets arrested and no one goes to jail because again no laws have been broken.
This is a long tedious procedure and obviously not as important as many other task these agencies all need to deal with every day. That along with the popular belief by many including lawmakers that these large broadcasting companies aren't really being hurt and don't really serve the needs of the public. So the FCC have to pick their battles and dig away the best they can without much support.

Some states, such as Florida, have state laws on the books about unlicensed broadcasting.
