Antenna TV Fall Schedule

I see Antenna TV finally got around to posting its Fall schedule, and not surprisingly, the vast majority of it is simply playing musical chairs with the same shows. Perhaps the lone interesting fact is the two-hour block on Saturday afternoon between 1-3 when they show a pair of one-season wonders from the mid-60's: My Mother the Car and It's About Time. Both are worth seeing, if only for the trainwreck angle, but while MMTC was shown when TV Land first came on, I don't think It's About Time has been on any channels in at least 40-45 years.

Because of my work schedule making it to where I mostly get to only watch Antenna TV late night Barney Miller is actually being moved back to a time when I can see it, and Newhart is still on at a time on weeknights that I can watch it. But they’re still running the overkill of Learcoms in prime time.

Concerning My Mother the Car and It's About Time, they may be worth watching just to see if they were as bad as people claim for a time, but I can’t see running a full hour of both, even on one day a week.

Also, I wish they’d bring back WKRP.

I hate how Antenna TV is now crunching credits on most of their shows. I have almost quit watching Antenna TV because that crunch is just unacceptable. They don't seem to care about their viewers. They just want to squeeze in more commercials. I just hope Family Ties isn't crunched.
