Anthony Silva has left Soldiers Field Rd.

Just thought Mr. Silva deserved a mention on the board after a long career on the afternoon news.

I was going thru an aircheck site a few weeks ago and found a clips of WBZ's 65th anniversary day and there in the mid-1980s doing news on the Larry Glick show was Diane Stern, Anthony Silva with Tom Cuddy on sports. Pretty amazing for the three of them to make into 2015 still working together on the same shift.

Also heard on the air today it was Anthony that had the idea and originated the WBZ Business Breakfasts.

So congrats and I'll miss hearing the old crew in the afternoons - best of luck to Jeff Brown who is taking over.
