Any alternate Half-Time shows?

Remember those?

I remember them occurring during the 90s.

I take it it's all over due to acquisitions and mergers of networks by the same few who take turns airing the Super Bowl.

I believe the WWE did two WWE Halftime Heat specials which aired on USA, one with an exclusive interview with Stone Cold Steve Austin I believe, and the other one a empty arena match between The Rock and Mankind for the then WWF Championship.

And don't forget MTV's "Butt-Bowl" with Beavis & Butt-head episodes.

I'd say the original poster was right.....I went out to watch the game myself this year, but I remember flipping around during halftime a couple of years ago and everything which was on was skewed FAR, FAR away from the traditional male football fan demographic.
