ANY CC CUTS IN POUGHKEEPSIE??

Anyone know if cheap channel cut anyone in the Poughkeepsie cluster?? I didn't hear walker on WRWD this am, but that doesn't mean anything as I haven't seen him work a full 5 day week in months. Wonder how the mgt tolerates his absenteeism, or maybe he got shown the door??? Also heard CC is looking at chapter 11 bankruptcy in august....

Tough out there right now; everybody's getting rid of employees.

Thanks

Not really, I guess CC will go bankrupt as of August. I hope maybe a new owner will take over, maybe either Citadel, Regent, CBS Radio, etc. no word on what the staff and employees will let go very soon. Stay tuned and find out! I will keep you posted.

May be Pamal Broadcasting can pick up WRWD and put the PEAK on 107.3

why do that when wrwd has consistently been beating the wuf in the ratings. i'm surprised that the wuf has lasted as long as it has. chuck must have some really big pull in atlanta.

YAH and what better to do with a loser station like the woof than to simulcast it on 2 other stations??? wonder how chuckie cheese stays where he is with such a poor showing, unless the suits at the head office are more clueless than he is. Won't even begin on how lousy "pdh morning show is....those clowns need to go.....

There weren't many cuts recently, there isn't anyone to cut.

WXPK? Is that noisemaker still on the air? It has no advertisers, no measurable audience and big stick issues and may not be long for the world. That station hasn't had a following since it was WZFM.
