Any CCM stations going all Christmas?

Are there any CCM stations going to all Christmas formats? The only one I know of for now is The Fish in Nashville. I sampled them over the web since the change. From what I've heard it's mostly secular easy listening Christmas music with some CCM mixed in. There's nothing wrong in having the secular music, but considering that this is an AC CCM station it would make more sense to have a mix of CCM and clean secular AC Christmas music and less easy listening.

I know that in the past American Family Radio's main network went all Christmas for the times they had music, but it was mostly inspo at that time. I don't know about this year yet.

Are there any others? Thanks! ;D

KFSH-FM in Los Angeles and WRVI-FM in Louisville are airing the same Christmas format as the Fish in Nashville with mostly secular easy listening Christmas music mixed with some CCM artists. KLTY-FM in Dallas, WFSH-FM in Atlanta, WFHM-FM in Cleveland and WFZH-FM are also all Christmas but I am not aware of their playlist.

Are we really asking this question?

Aren't CCM stations all "Christmas" all the time anyway?

Isn't this like the Will Ferrel movie where Will prays to the newborn baby Jesus at every meal? Do we play music about His birth to make the world happy or stick with "Music Of His Life" to fulfill the Great Commission?

I actually hear listeners who are upset we play "Christmas" music. His birth was one of the miracles yes. But what He did in death and resurrection was our saving Grace.

Much of today's "Christmas" music is slow and dreadful. Wonder why suicide hotlines get more calls in December? Christmas Music....What a way to celebrate? Much uptempo music to choose from if you look.

The stations I volunteer for went Christmas as a result of network feed just before Thanksgiving but we supplant the network feed with CCM to downplay the commercial aspect of Christmas.

Any reflection on this aspect of Christmas?

I've noticed that Salem's Today's Christian Music feed has gone to a similar format to the Fish stations as well. I really don't see how that this will attract more listeners to their regular AC CCM format once the season is over. It would make more sense to me to go with mostly AC CCM Christmas music with clean secular AC Christmas music added in and only a little easy listening.

I tend to agree that all slow Christmas music can get to be depressing. I tend to listen to my Dr. Demento Christmas CD several times during the season! ;D
