Any chance a local station will flip to Classic Hip-Hop

It seems like no one in the market is making even a slight move. If someone does, I could possibly see The Amp disappearing and this happening. This format is going to get stale fast. Plus, this format has potential long term issues with revenues and a few stations are going to have quick drops in ratings and the naysayers are going to cause some retreats, second guessing and you will see it go the way of Rock Hits and Jammin Oldies.

Nashville is the wrong market to try anything that seems to be a National trend. Nashville radio usually doesn't embrace a format of any kind until it has run its course in other markets. In other words, don't expect to see Classic Hip-Hop in Nashville until it's on it's way out in other markets.
