Any chance COZI TV would come to Atlanta?

I noticed on the COZI web site that Atlanta is not listed as an affiliate, which surprises me somewhat considering it is a major market, and COZI is NBC owned.

I would have thought WXIA would place it on its sub

Channel 11 is Gannet owned.

Unless they ditch the wiz tv i dont see them adding a second sub channel. I know they do with 36 but i think they want the bandwith for the NBC main channel to better and adding another channel will take away from the main channels video quality.

Wxia should dump wiz tv and add cozi tv on 11.2. This would pretty much force either 2, 5, 17, 46 or 69 to add a weather channel. Hopefully 17, 46, or 69 since they refuse to multicast classic tv networks or anything else. I guess they are lazy and/or afraid of more competition.

Meredith is not doing subchannels in most markets because they're holding their bandwidth for Mobile DTV. Don't expect any miracles from WGCL or WPCH any time soon.

And nobody is required to have a weather channel. WXIA dropping WeatherNation (which they just added, so they won't be dropping it) would just mean no more weather channel in Atlanta.
