Any Channel 933 listeners?

Does anyone actually like Channel 933 anymore? I didn't know if it was just me, but a chr station in a top 20 market only broadcasting live and local at night seems quite lame. I can remember how great of a station it was back about 2 years ago with AJ's Playhouse in the morning, Hitman Haze in the midday, Boy Toy Jesse in the afternoon, and Frankie's Neighborhood at night, followed by Cabana Boy Geoff voicetracked for overnights. Great lineup. Does programming and management think the 2.5 million people in the market wouldn't want a live and local personality to call and request songs, win prizes, and interact with between 5am and 7pm? Just thinking out loud.

I'm pretty sure Haze works at Star 94.1 now and I think 2 years ago, Boy Toy Jeese was being voicetracked from KIIS in LA because Valentine was doing mornings at KBIG 2 years ago. CC should definately solve their VT problem, at least put in a local morning show for crying out loud! Move Frankie to mornings!

You're right..I guess it was closer to about three years ago that Valentine moved to KYSR (briefly), then KBIG, and Haze moved down the hall to KMYI. Wow..I can't believe it's been that long. Personally, I think they're going to have to make some huge changes soon or Z90 and Q96 are going to wipe them off the radio map after about 14 years of operations.

SDRadio.net has reported multiple times that Q96 has been sold. So I wouldn't count on Q96 surviving in its current form once the new people take over. Who knows what they have in mind for it.

I hope not. Don't we have enough religious stations already?

Randy Dotinga reports that 933 had the highest cume in the April ratings, so someone must be listening.

I do wish they had something better going on in the mornings. I can't stand the voice tracking either. I do wish they were local. Its annoying to know they arent live, especially knowing that Boy Toy Jesse and Sisanie used to be down here and now they're not.
