Aldean was quickly replaced in the Hot 100 by Morgan Wallen and Luke Combs. That tells me that this was a quick burn song and may not have the passion to go beyond Top 10. It's a very dark song, in terms of imagery and tone. Not the kind of summer song that gets people on the dance floor. Luke Bryan has them beat there.
