Any comments on Today's ratings?

Some of you are looking pretty dumb right now counting Mega out. And Power not getting hurt. Other than that?

Oh, fun rumor floating around about WRTO changing/shifting formats to more reaggaton? DJ's off the air this week or next week? Just a rumor I heard.

I wouldn't know a thing about that. Just a rumor, I guess.

Yes- stunningly, WMXJ seems on a nice roll. They've always been a sort of so-so Oldies station. Don't know what market dynamics have changed in their favor but, at least 12+, they seem to be doing better.

Good book for Jefferson-Pilot. WLYF is at one of their highest levels ever while AC competitior WFLC is at one of their lowest levels. The gap has never been bigger between these two stations.

Also, WMXJ proved that the Winter book was not a fluke as they moved up yet another tenth of a share for the Spring. I have always heard that Bob Hamilton is one of the best oldies PDs, it took a while in Miami, but he is now working his "magic".

Actually, the 12+ gap was a bit wider (a difference of 3.7 share points) in the Summer of 2003 (vs. 3.1 right now). [Note to mods: no specific shares were quoted here; just the difference.]

But you really need to look at the performance in the specific demos each station is targeting. I'm sure both stations are content with their respective positions in-demo.
