Any Commercial Success with AM HD ?

AM HD is around 32kbps. Not sure of the ones running without an analog signal - perhaps those are higher. Either way, audio fidelity is certainly better than ordinary AM radio.

Anyone have any updates on the >4 HD-only AM stations?

The only AM HD station in my market is WDGY, which broadcasts in HD using pre/post sunrise authorization.

John Anderson wrote a book about the limitations of HD Radio, and audio quality is discussed. Amazon.com: Radio’s Digital Dilemma: Broadcasting in the Twenty-First Century (Routledge Research in Cultural and Media Studies): 9780415656122: Anderson, John Nathan: Books
