Any difference in WGST reception at night?

I notice the Cuban on 640 has been off the air recently. I heard WGST bounce in one evening in Florida, mixed with a station near Orlando. Has there been a noticeable improvement in the local area?

I do not think so. The evening reception in Brookhaven is great. On the north side listening in three different cars the reception is fuzzy and fading around and outside of I-285. However, I rarely listen to GST at night.

Just curious . . . Any local comments as to how well GST reception is on land based radios around and outside of I-285?

The signal is non-existent in Acworth in the evenings. When I drive home from downtown, I usually lose it around the 75/575 split.

I live pretty close to the split and all I can get at night is 750 and
a scrachy 1230.

They seem to power down at night. Around 6:30 am or so they power up and usually in the middle of either traffic or Tom Hughes interview. It's one of the several things I'm sure folks here would enjoy critizing them about if they listen to WGST. I wish they would power up during a break or transistion point so the switch is not so obvious and annoying.
