Just wondering if there are any usable frequencies in the Houston are for a 250w to 1kw FM station. I know the FCC would not allow another station lets said they did which frequency would be usable for a lower power station.<P ID="signature">______________

While I don't agree with pirating, if your willing to go through the hassle of having the FCC come knocking on your door and taking your equipment, I'd like to give you an idea. If your going to broadcast an illegal signal, try it on a frequency like 87.9 or 87.7. It wouldn't be as likely to interfere with any legally licensed signal, and wouldn't be as likely to be turned in, or really be given much thought to from those that could disrupt your ability to broadcast. Don't make the mistake that so many others have...stay off of the commercial band! That's a sure fire way to get busted.

Just be aware that you might also be impacting someone's reception of the aural portion of channel 6 (KFDM-TV) in Beaumont. Your milage may vary, and remember that any unlicensed operation is illegal. While it's true that you probably stand less of a chance being caught by operating below the FM band, it's illegal non the less.
