I downloaded the FCC AM database files, and have a several year old FCC database reader program I'm having problems with. Any suggestions for one that is:
free
reads the current FCC AM database files
includes ground conductivity data, and can approximate estimated field strength in ?v/m at specified receiving location
bonus: includes ground conductivity data, and can generate approximate coverage maps (extra bonus would be able to specify which contour(s) I want to see)
bonus 2: can plug in data for frequency, antenna type/size, power, ground system, coordinates (to the nearest 1/100th of a second), and, complete with switchable (on/off) street map and maybe satellite photography (aka Google Earth/Maps), can plot projected coverage. (also would need to support directional antenna systems, antennas 3 meters in length, powers of 100 milliwatts)
Anything out there that's FREE (not free trial) that will do this? note that the "bonus" items are not required.
