My guess is that it will be NBC 10. They go into weather overkill mode. Is it me or is their weather set bigger then their news set?

unfortunately the timing of the snowstorm, starting late afternoon, will prevent the stations from going with all out coverage this tims, but yes, most of their eveneing newscasts to the storm. but yes tabloid 10 is the worst when it comes to panicking the people.

Assignments

I can picture the assignments now.

A reporter staioned at the PennDot staging area, watching workers put salt In the trucks.

A reporter stationed at a Home Depot watching people buy shovels.

A reporter with a ruler in hand waiting to give accumulations.

reporter(s) stationed at some busy intersections asking drivers stopped at the traffic light how they plan on coping with the snow.

A reporter interviewing a Septa official

A reporter interviewing a Penndot official.

Did I miss anything???

It means good business for Southwest Airlines. The Newscasters make the mostly harmless, mild, winter weather into a catastrophe and people start calling Southwest Airlines and America West for trips to Vegas, Phoenix, LA, and Florida.

Let's not forget the reporter stationed at the local WAWA where people are getting their last minute milk and bread.

Yes, someone repporting up in the Lehigh Valley where 99% of viewers have no idea where the hell they are reporting from!

You forgot to mention they buy eggs, too.

What is it with the milk, bread and eggs?
Do people make French Toast when it snows?

UNfortunately? Seems like a blessing.

Some strange Philadelphia custom---there's a snow flurry, let's grab the fixins for some French toast. Even if it's an inch of snow, let's stock up like the end of days is upon us!
