St. Louis urban 100.3 The Beat went into stunt mode Friday. I read that another Clear Channel property will do the same thing today. Any guesses?...
 
A Clear Channel property has taken Cool 106.1 out of Tulsa and made it Christmas Music, calling it "Christmans 106.1". look for a new format there after Christmas.
 
Taht sounds like the logical choice. I don't see hwo they are selling that format right now with current state of the industry and economy, even packaging it with other stations.
 
Since they recently hired Alexis I think something is up. I think Channel 97-1 (Adult Alternative) would compliment The Edge or Groove 97-1 (Rhythmic) would work as well without taking away from KISS.
 
Adult alternative failed with Zone and Merge, it failed at Quality Rock, and KXT is about to start playing something similar...
I just don't see a big market for AA in Dallas...
