Any HD Clock Radios?

I went shopping online this week for a clock-radio that would allow me to wake to an FM HD2 subchannel and was surprised at how few there are. In fact, the *only one* I could find that 's currently in production with typical features like a snooze bar, battery backup, etc. is the Sparc SHD-T750, and that model gets decidedly mixed reviews.

Everything else I found was first-generation stuff only available used on Ebay. Those early Boston, Cambridge, Teac, Polk, Sony, iLuv radios all had bad reviews about clocks not working well, unreliable alarms, lacking snooze bars, etc. And most importantly, difficult reception since those early HD radio chips had terrible sensitivity. I actually own the Boston and it's basically useless, even with me being under 5 miles line-of-sight from most towers in the city.

Am I missing any models that fit this category? Does anyone know of new models in the pipeline, or is anyone here using that Sparc as a bedside clock-radio?

Why not plug a "good" HD radio into any sort of electric timer and use that as your clock?

Back when things were mechanical, with mechanical tuners, that would work. Modern electronics, not so much. Take the power off (as with a timer), you lose the station tuning information.

Works with my Insigna.

I decided to get my Boston Recepter out and was able to tweak it to work for my needs. It has its shortcomings but I'd forgotten how good it sounds. It would be nice if there were some more current models on the market, though.
