Any Hosts Sharper than Mort Sahl or Joe Pyne?

Even though I don't agree with Joe Pyne on half the issues, I always found him entertaining. I found some old reels, but they were only available for pick-up in Canada (then the problem of digitizing reels), and have listened to many names related to either one of those guys, and it's not even close.

Outside of the usual sites, these rare shows are hard to find. I've spent 20 years trying to find a single show of Mort's on WRC-AM or KTTV (you can only access this by going to UCLA - 2 shows, unless you have a ton of money and if there's no copyrights by a 3rd party) and one show on KLAC.

AI programs are pretty good at finding, or doing some legwork...

And you don't have to be "old" to enjoy. I was born in the 80s, and those are the only two I listen to when it comes to radio. But I'd be open to giving hosts a chance. I regret never asking Mort about Joe, since they were both on KLAC and KTTV. There's one show of Lynn Samuels and Mort Sahl, and it's one heck of a show.

Although he's not available right now, due to injury, Dennis Prager is a great talk show host. His unique, well researched and thought out takes is why PragerU has, and continues to be, successful.
