Any Markets Whose Local Stations Have Never, Ever Carried the MDA Telethon?

Are there any markets where none of their local stations ever carried the annual MDA Labor Day Telethon?

I thought I have read in past threads on this board that Greensboro/Winston-Salem, NC has been one, IIRC (let me know if that's correct).

Any other markets where Jerry has gone unseen on Labor Day (that is until this year), or have gone the longest without seeing the MDA telethon on Labor Day in their local market?

Eastern NC (Greenville/New Bern/Washington) has never had it either to my knowledge.
Eastern NC had the MDA Labor Day Telethon twice. The telethon was aired on WITN in 1978 and again in 1979.

I'm pretty sure that's wrong, but I don't know where to find the proof.

Actually, I could when I get to a library that will let me look up old newspaper articles online.

I finally remembered to look this up. It is a fact that Greensboro, NC had the MDA in 1990 on a local station. Whether it did in other years I didn't investigate because the question was whether they "never, ever" carried it.
