Any more SA stations going to run HD and/or multicast?

I drove to Bjorns yesterday just to listen to HD radio because I knew they would be the only store in town carrying it. They had one model, it was a Yamaha receiver which I don't remember the model number. But it is a pretty significant difference between analong and HD, you can tell because when you tune to an HD freq, the analong is playing, then the digital signal kicks in on a four second delay, kinda like HDTV (annoying when I'm watching TV in the kitchen and the TV in the den is on the same channel in HD). Sounded real nice on a big set of Difinitive Technology speakers. I'm kinda dissapointed there are only 3 FM stations in HD. One puzzles the heck out of me why they even considered giong HD: z106. A top 40 station???? come on! If any station deserves the HD treatment it should be KPAC 88.3. Classical music in digital, real nice. That would probably make me invest in an HD tuner. Well...maybe if there were more stations that broadcasted in HD and/or multicasting.

I gues its like RDS... only 5 radio stations that have RDS in San antonio as well.

According to iBiquity.com - there are currently 4 stations in SA broadcasting in HD: KJ 97, KQXT 101.9, KTSA 550 and WOAI 1200 ...
However, there are a bunch that are "licensed" to broadcast in HD, but haven't turned it on yet ...
Those include: KBBT 98.5, KCYY 100.3, KELZ 106.7, KISS 99.5, KKYX 680, KONO 860/101.1, KRDY 1160, KSMG 105.3 and KXTN 107.5<P ID="signature">______________
