The application is still marked "Accepted For Filing" on the FCC website.
Actually, there are three applications involved:
* The transfer of the main KFRC broadcast license
* The transfer of the 3KW auxiliary facility
* The application to change KEAR-FM from non-commercial to commercial status
Even if the applications got approved tomorrow, nothing changes at 106.9.
Why?
The 106.9 purchase agreement has a programming agreement attached to it. If the sale to Infinity is approved, and closes, before the end of the Oakland A's season, Family Stations will continue to program the station. The programming agreement has an automatic termination date: at 11:59 PM PT on the final day of the A's season.
So, if you're looking for a day when Infinity starts stunting or programming 106.9, look at the A's last game.

This, of course, is tied to the A's contract with Infinity for KFRC/610, which is now being operated by Family Stations. The reason Infinity didn't hang onto THAT station, of course, is because it needed to get it out of the way for the purchase of KOVR/13 in the Sacramento TV market.
