Any news on Brian Whitman?

heard him in-studio with Stephanie Miller this morning:
doing the Leykis impression that got him in trouble...

Whitman said on Steph's show yesterday he was scheduled to be on Adam Carolla's show last week, but PD Jack Silver cancelled it because of Leykis. Hmmmm...

I do not understand the fascination for Leykis. He is a fat loudmouthed disgusting human being. I'd rate Michael Savage over him, at least Savage can once in a blue moon display some redeeming social value. I used to try to listen to Leykis but always turned off in disgust, it's like taking a big sip of spoiled milk.

Everyone got so bent out of shape about Imus' "Nappy" comments but Leykis spills out equally misogynistic and demeaning blather every hour of every broadcast and nobody blinks. Go figure!

Likewise with Stern, although the most he got were fines. Leykis must rake in the $$$, like Stern did.

Stern had to have billed more than Leykis and his show was mostly the type of politically incorrect sexually tinged kind of humor that most men loved in junior high school and most of us really never grew out of. Moreover Howard Stern is in my opinion a great interviewer so his show (on KLSX) was far superior. Leykis on the other hand is a truly disturbing and likely disturbed individual. Listening to Howard most of the time makes me laugh, even when I knew I shouldn't, but when I've tried listening to Leykis, even though not for very long, I come away with a feeling ranging from slight uneasiness to feeling like I badly need a shower, metaphorically anyway. I also think Savage has some serious social issues but he seems to get more flack than Leykis. Imus is just a tired old man trying to hold on yet he gets excoriated for a tasteless, yet in my view innocent, remark. Maybe nobody is listening to Tom so that is why he gets a pass.

I was a fan of Stern's, he may have been lusting after the ladies as much as Leykis or any other guy, but he was at least intelligent and entertaining. And I agree his humor and interviews were far more engaging than Leykis. Leykis is a broken record, always talking about the the same stuff over and over and over again. After you've heard him a couple of times, if you tune in a few months later, you haven't missed anything at all.
