ANY NEWS ON WEW? OR SAME OLD SAME OLD?

Is WEW strictly a leased time operation? My father wants to complain to the station about it no longer being a full time sswing music station, but if it's all leased and the person doing the swing doesn't want to buy more hours, there's not much he can do.

WEW is all brokered now. Your dad might like Bob Romanik's new station WQQX 1490 if he was a fan of the old WEW and WRTH. Very similar format with Sinatra and some Big Band type music mixed with some softer pop from the 70s.

I have a feeling my father won‘t like the new station, as soon as he hears one song he doesn’t like he will never listen to the station again. He’s 85, and just doesn’t get the concept that no station can make a profit just catering to his tastes, nor does he care that stations must make a profit in order to continue with any format. Oh, well....
