Any Northeast Ohio Radio Station Job Openings?

I was wondering if there are any board op jobs available in Northeast Ohio radio...either full time or part time...or are there ever "on air" talent jobs available with all of the down sizing these days...I have been in radio as a board op most of my life, and a friend of mine has been a "on air talent" most of his life (both of us have over twenty five years experience) but have not landed any jobs locally for a number of years now...
When we look at local Cleveland radio station web sites, there are some postings, but when we called on those listings, they tell us that the jobs were filled last year and they are old postings.
There are people who have always had a passion for working in radio and made a living out it and loved either being on the air or just engineering local shows... so many people who have the talent and want to get back into radio cannot find jobs these days, and for some, it was the only thing they had until a few years ago.

Dear GR...It was a serious topic I wrote about...what is the difference between jocks and board ops losing their jobs and Ford workers losing their jobs??? I suppose that is a joke too...I am hoping for the day when radio can make a comeback and hire the people who loved working in radio and actually got paid for loving their work on the air or behind the scenes...I have always had a love for radio, and to say I worked with some big time jocks as a board op makes me feel like one day it will all come around again- and I will once again do what I have enjoyed doing in life-work in radio!!! Hey it can happen!!!

Are some of these jobs moving away from the local radio stations and toward the producers of syndicated, network and satellite product? For example, I hear the EMF Christian Rock format on tiny stations at 91.9 FM around Cleveland, and 90.9 FM in, I think, Hudson. The programming comes from California and the local stations are repeaters. They seem to often have live hosts and producers in Cali. Even if some is voice-tracked, they still have to have somebody to produce it. How many people on staff at "Coast-To-Coast AM" which runs all night on lots of stations?

Hawaii? :D

There might be opening for janitors, I'm sure they need someone around to dust the cobwebs off the automation and voice tracking equipment.
