On WKXL 1450, we have very little "political" talk. We have openly political show, Capital Week with Dennis Parker, which airs Fridays at 11 a.m. Parker is a lobbyist at the State House. One of his clients is the state employees union. Other than that, we don't have any openly political talk shows. We may have other shows which may discuss political topics but none of them are political - whether progressive or conservative.
We leave most of the politics to our news coverage, which airs all sides of most arguments. We even have a Campaign 2008 file with all our radio stories about potential candidates visiting the Granite State - from both political parties.
It is too bad that so many folks automatically assume that Gordon Humphrey's station is one way, when it is exactly the opposite. Give us a listen ... and find out for yourself. Don't assume.
