Any Remember A Rap Video Station In Houston Back In 98 to like 01

Anybody remember a rap video station in the channel range of the 30s or was it 63 back in 98 to 01. Here where I live it came in really weak anybody ever remember this station.

Didn't the old "Box" pay for play video channel have a transmitter on channel 56 for a while? Never saw it at my NW Harris County location, but could see it faintly when checking sets inside the loop. That was in the mid-late 90's, IIRC.

Yup.

"The Box" was mainly on LPTV Stations and TV Translators scattered aorund the country. Some had cable placement, some didn't.

A friend of mine worked for The Box in South Florida and tells me exactly what you suspect, that MTV bought out The Box and replaced it with MTV2.

Several of the MTV2 OTA stations were sold recently to one group/person.
