Any Reports on 160 Meter Ham Daytime Conditions?

I rarely check that band. The only time I heard a lot of activity on 160 meters was in 2012 when it was a special operating contest, named after a famous 160 meter guy. The CW section was quite busy that night.

I've been hearing AM BC DX in the 150-300 mile range including some lower power stations. It starts in the expanded band and moves down by mid to late afternoon. So you might check the expanded band as an indication to check 160 meters.

I can't remember the last time I heard anything on 160 meters. Of course I can't remember the last time I checked....LOL! The X band seems like it's been rlatively busy lately, so it's probably time to give 160 a listen. I'll try it.
