So now that we know riviera has entered no man's land. Any one have any updates? What's the status of Tim Pohlman? Staff staying for now? KKFR & KEDJ going bye bye? Updates posters updates?
 
great information in that document! Looks like kedj will be the first to go. As it says "The Credit Parties shall use commercially reasonable efforts to market the tower for kedj (and related real estate) located on ocatillo rd, queen creek, arizona. For a sale, leaseback on terms amd conditions reasonably acceptable."

no great news for kedj fans.
 
I think you misunderstood the previous post. Riviera is reporting the KEDJ tower and land are owned by the company. They believe they could sell those assets to a third party (likely a tower company) in order to raise cash. The sale would include a provision for KEDJ to continue using the tower under a lease. The rental payment to the new landlord would be less than the current costs of maintenance, property taxes and mortgage payments. The change conserves a lot of cash. Sale/leaseback arrangements are quite common in the business world.

In the filing, someone named Gene Yoon is named as a new board member for Riviera, and appearently he owns an interest in Sun City Licenses, which owns the Vibe. Does anyone know anything about Mr. Yoon?
 
Let the fall begin. Word from the Citibank offices at 7th street & camelback is Bruce St. James, his assistant, Melissa the late night host and an engineer have been removed immediatly. Rumor has it other names are coming, but some are on vacation and can't be contacted from what is being floated around? I'm still searching for more information as to who made these calls and what else might be coming.

Gene was formerly Director of Corporate and Business Development at Geocast Network Systems, a technology infrastructure provider backed by Kleiner Perkins, Mayfield and IVP. Prior to Geocast, he was in investment banking at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette. Gene has received both a BS in Economics and an MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
