Your best bet for any salsa in Texas and the west is a non-com. Salsa has little presence or interest in Mexico, and thus, very little interest among US Hispanics in the West. For rather interesting times, you might look for WZNT and WPRM in Puerto Rico, but supposedly still online. WPRM is Cadeana Salsoul, and WZNT is Zeta 93.

I've heard salsa music played on the radio in Corpus Christi. Don't remember what exact station but it was somewhere near the 91 frequency...I wana say 91.7. And it was on a friday night when I heard it.

KVRT has been doing it forever from 10:30-11pm Saturday nights, they simalcast KEDT in Corpus 90.3, that could be the one you are talking about. They have been doing that since I can remember.

well....I will be heading down to Corpus in about a week, so I'll check it out. I do like to listen to salsa, especially Calliente on XM.

Well even though radio isnt as good as it use to be, I still refuse to pay for it. I mostly stream to Internet radio or listen to dj mixes most of the time and my own mixes. Victoria radio is still awsome radio, nothing has changed its still great to listen to.
