QVC always does that.
I think Christmas is the only day of the year when they aren't hawking garbage to grandmas and lonely housewives.
 
I did notice that they did the fireplace on Christmas Eve but on Christmas Day they showed behind-the-scenes of their channel and bloopers. The music played for the fireplace were from instrumentals and from the public domain
 
Good god, you mean people *really* couldn't tell that it was a video display and clearly *not* the real thing?

Back in 2004 I recorded the log off of the MSG network. Since WPIX was yanked from the cable channel lineup.I made a DVD with my own mix of holiday tunes instead of the sound track of MSG Net.

I have not watched it since I have the real thing now in my house.It was great when I was in my apartment.
